In order to qualify for Technician-Level Certification by Prior Experience (CPE), you must have learned the structure and function of the human body and nervous system, including how they relate to the specific neurofeedback applications that you use with clients/patients, by satisfying one or more of the following criteria:
- formal anatomy and physiology course (including biological psychology, human anatomy, human anatomy/physiology, human biology, human physiology, neuroanatomy, neuroscience, or physiological psychology at a regionally-accredited college or university for a grade or pass/fail, but not audited)
- continuing education, including workshops and seminars, specific to the anatomy and physiology related to the neurofeedback training that you provide
- on-the-job training with a supervisor or mentor (signed off by your mentor)
