To qualify for Academic Certification by Prior Experience (CPE) in Biofeedback, you must have learned the physiology and function of the human body and nervous system, including how they relate to biofeedback theory and applications, through one or more of the following criteria:
- formal anatomy and physiology coursework (including physiology, physiological psychology, human biology, and kinesiology)
- continuing education, including workshops and seminars, specific to the anatomy and physiology related to the biofeedback training that you provide
- pre-med or other university work related to anatomy and physiology
- on-the-job training with a supervisor, mentor, colleague, or work-related activities such as grand rounds
- significant independent reading and study (detailed description required)
