Anatomy and Physiology

To qualify for Technician Certification by Prior Experience (CPE) in Biofeedback, you must have learned the structure and function of the human body and nervous system, including how they relate to the specific biofeedback applications that you use with clients/patients, by satisfying one or more of the following criteria:

  • formal anatomy and physiology course (including physiology, physiological psychology, human biology, and kinesiology)
  • continuing education, including workshops and seminars, specific to the anatomy and physiology related to the biofeedback training that your provide
  • on-the-job training with a supervisor or mentor (signed off by your mentor)
