Be A Watchdog

BCIA has launched the Watchdog Initiative with the purpose of building interest and momentum in biofeedback and neurofeedback by identifying, sharing, and responding to articles in the public media where biofeedback is either mentioned or should have been mentioned, but was not. We invite you to start participating in this initiative by identifying relevant articles and sending PDFs and/or electronic links, including contact information for the authors or editors, to BCIA via When you respond to an article, please send us a copy and include your permission so that we may post it.

We will review the articles and post them here, along with author/editor contact information. BCIA certificants will then have the opportunity to respond to these articles with letters to the authors/editors to encourage public education about biofeedback and neurofeedback, to correct misinformation, and to educate authors and their audiences about our field and the value of the BCIA Certification.

Please use one of the Sample Response Letters which you may use and modify accordingly. We will communicate to BCIA certificants periodically through e-blasts as new articles are posted.
