NRBS: The Guide to Supporting Kids with PANS/PANDAS: From Diagnosis to Treatment Providers, teachers, and parents

PANS/PANDAS/AE (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome/ Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcus/ Autoimmune Encephalitis) are emerging health crises that have a far reaching impact on the field of mental health. Infectious disease can cause neuropsychiatric and neurocognitive symptomatology. This workshop will review the neurobiology, diagnosis criteria and evidence-based treatments, such as antibiotics, psychotherapy, E/RP, as well as innovative approaches, including QEEG brain mapping, biofeedback, neurofeedback, nutrition, and supplementation.
